Funding, frikort and NAV
Helfo support and direct settlement
We have a direct settlement agreement with Helfo. This means you only pay your co-payment with us. The dentist makes a professional assessment of whether you have a diagnosis that qualifies for support, and we automatically deduct the amount from your bill. The rest of the settlement is handled directly with Helfo. For certain diagnoses and conditions, a doctor's certificate is required in advance. Please get in touch with us before your appointment if you're unsure what you need to bring.
Frikort (exemption card)
The health services exemption card does not, as a rule, cover ordinary dental treatment (such as check-ups and routine fillings). There are, however, important exceptions.
Approved Helfo support: if you have a diagnosis or condition that qualifies for support from Helfo, the co-payment you pay for that specific treatment counts towards your exemption card.
Once you have your exemption card: if you've already received your exemption card, you won't have to pay the co-payment for the part of the dental treatment that's approved and covered by Helfo.
NAV requisition
Have you been granted support from NAV? We accept NAV requisitions. The patient only pays the co-payment set by NAV. Bring the written requisition or decision to your appointment, and we'll take care of the practical details and send the invoice directly to NAV. Please note that the requisition must be valid and confirmed before treatment starts.
